While I was unable to do yoga I decided to choose another activity for my action requirement. I decided that running was the perfect action activity for me to do.
This was a particularly painful task, the last time that I went running was in the 10th grade in physical education. I decided that in order to complete a successful run, that I should have someone there to motivate me to run faster, farther and longer. I decided to go with my sister.
We ran from our house in Runda to Rosslyn Ridge where we took a break and played basketball at the courts in Rosslyn Ridge. When we noticed that it was going to ran soon we decided it was best to leave soon, as we started to run from Rosslyn towards the UN Road it started to rain. This was not just rain it was pouring down. This was not a fun experience. My sister Amber told me if we run to the round about, we could get picked up and dry off. This was the hardest run of my life. Running against the rain and wearing contacts is not a good idea. When we were close to the round about I was unable to see due to my blurry contacts. So she then had to lead the way to our car.
Ever since then running has been a lot easier to go through I have started to run to different places such as River Cafe and Village Market and back. I am starting to have shorter breaks for walking periods and longer running periods.

IC Trip to Watamu
For our senior trip this year we were fortunate enough to go to Watamu in North Coast. This trip was especially interesting and beneficial and amazing for all parties involved. We were able to go to Gede Ruins where we were able to get some more interesting important culture of Kenya. We were able to take a photo safari where we walked from our hotel to the ice cream place that is infamous to all of Kenya. Or so we thought we accidentally got lost and went to the wrong ice cream place, none the less it was amazing ice cream. Alisha and I got five flavors and shared them all they were so delicious! During this trip we were also given the opportunity by the hotel to participate in a cooking class. Although I do not remember what we cooked exactly it was definitely some of the best food any one of us could have cooked. The dessert was so amazing, we kept going back for more. Than they made the same thing for lunch at the hotel so we got twice as much! All in all this was a very amazing and rewarding experience where my group in particular got to be involved in many creative options.
